We are facing a new and unknown situation; as individuals, nations and as a global society. When it comes to the effects of the virus, there are a lot of unknowns; how long is it going to last? how many will get sick? what will be the long term effect? No matter the course of the virus, and what we each think is the best way to respond to it, there are a lot of things happening now that are important to notice. There are important changes happening. e.g. for the state of our economy, our medical and social security system, production systems are disrupted, political leaders are responding in different ways. We are asked to think about our global connections, how we collaborate and who do we trust. Who is affected by our actions. Innovation and creative approaches are emerging as people need to change their habits. For all of these reasons, it is relevant now to take a moment and reflect on how we can and want to act.
This session focuses on your ability to take leadership and responsibility in this unknown situation: How do you lead yourself? Your relations? And the system you are a part of?
Everyone has their way to react and contribute; some might continue with business as usual, some might help a sick neighbor to get groceries, some might start a campaign helping people to work from home, or call a friend that is lonely during isolation. Whatever it is, it becomes more efficient and impactful if we take some time to reflect on who we want to lead/ help, how we want to do it, and when we will do it.
