1. The agreement The agreement consists of these terms and conditions of sale, information provided in the ordering solution and any separately agreed terms. In the event of any conflict between the information, what is separately agreed between the parties takes precedence, as long as it does not conflict with mandatory legislation.
The agreement will also be supplemented by relevant legal provisions that regulate the purchase of goods between traders and consumers.
2. The parties The seller for community programs is:
Future Leaders Global; Org no. 918 932 518; Calmeyers gate 5; 0183 Oslo, Norway; programs[at]futureleadersglobal.com
The seller for commercial programs is:
Future Leaders AS; Org no: 918 028 706; Torggata 13, 0181 Oslo; programs[at]futureleadersglobal.com
Who the seller is, will be indicated on the invoice or within the selected payment system.
The buyer is the consumer who makes the order, and is referred to in the following as the buyer.
3. Price
The prices for all goods and services are listed individually on the website. For private buyers, prices include all taxes and additional costs. For commercial buyers, VAT is excluded in the price and will be added in the payment process. This is highlighted separately for each product on the website. Additional costs that the seller has not informed about before the purchase shall not be borne by the buyer.
4. Conclusion of agreement
The agreement is binding for both parties when the buyer has sent his order to the seller.
When ordered, payment is required to secure the item selected. If the sum is not paid in full before the delivery starts, the seller can cancel the order without further liability.
The agreement is nevertheless not binding if there has been a typing or typing error in the offer from the seller in the ordering solution in the online store or in the buyer's order, and the other party realized or should have realized that there was such an error.
5. The payment
The seller can demand payment for the item from the time it is ordered by the buyer.
Payment options include VIPPS, PAYPAL, and invoicing. Availability of these payment options depends on the item selected and might vary based on country.
If the buyer uses a credit or debit card for payment, the seller can charge the purchase price on the buyers card on the same day when ordered.
When paying by invoice, the invoice is issued to the buyer when the purchase is confirmed. The payment deadline appears on the invoice and is a minimum of 14 days from receipt.
Buyers under the age of 18 cannot pay with an invoice.
6. Delivery Delivery has taken place when the buyer has participated in the ordered service. Participation is transferable with prior approval from the seller. The seller reserves the right to decline proposed alternative candidates. In that case, general cancellation rules apply (see point 7).
7. Buyer's cancellation & refund Cancellation must be made via e-mail to programs@futureleadersglobal.com. The cancellation and its conditions will apply from the date the seller receives the cancellation email. Cancellations with more than 60 days until delivery are refunded with 50%. Cancellations that occur within 60 days until delivery are not refunded.
The seller is obliged to pay applicable refunds to the buyer without undue delay, and no later than 30 days from the seller receiving notification of the buyer's decision to exercise the cancellation.
8. Seller's cancellation & postponement The seller reserves the right to cancel and/or postpone events due to few participants, ill instructors, or serious unforeseen circumstances. The seller also reserves the right to cancel and/or postpone events if circumstances arise which may affect the instructors/participants' health, safety and welfare. If an event is canceled before the start, with the above as the reason, the buyer can choose between a refund of the fee paid or use the amount as a credit towards future Future Leaders events corresponding to the same amount. If an event is canceled after it has started, the buyer will be refunded a sum corresponding to the remaining time of the event that is not completed. The seller is not responsible for refunds of any type of tickets, accommodation, food, drinks or anything else purchased by the participant. Some of the sellers events are held by several instructors. If one or more of these cannot participate due to illness or other circumstances beyond our control, the seller may choose, but does not undertake, to carry out the event with fewer or one instructor. This does not entitle the buyer to cancellation or a refund.
09. The buyer's rights and deadline for complaints
If a buyer is not satisfied with a delivery, a formal complaint can be issued to programs[at]futureleadersglobal.com within 14 days after the delivery ended. All complaints are processed by the CEO of Future Leaders Global and handled on a case-by-case basis.
10. The seller's rights - Eligibilty to participate
The seller can only accept participants with adequate physical and mental health. Any condition that requires special attention must be reported in writing at the same time as registration. The seller cannot take responsibility for special diets or medical conditions that need follow-up. When registering, the buyer confirms to not have physical, mental or other types of conditions that will create danger for the buyer or other participants.
11. The seller's rights - Limitation of liability
The seller's liability, if any, for personal injury and/or damage arising out of or connected to the event is limited to the fee the buyer has paid for the event in question. The seller and its partners at any event cannot be held responsible for damage to or loss of property, personal injury or death. Participation in the seller's events means that the buyer waives any claim in connection with events beyond the seller's control, such as, but not limited to transport delays, cancellations, disruptions, actions or omissions, orders from authorities, strikes, fire, rebellion, flood, war, terrorism, disease, quarantine, epidemics, theft, natural disasters and force majeure, circumstances of any kind that prevent completion of the agreement. The buyer is responsible for organizing their own transport to and from the meeting point described under the event's information. Payment of an invoice from the seller is considered as consent to the seller's conditions. The seller may change the terms when deemed necessary. It is the buyer's responsibility as a participant to review the terms before ordering or registering.
12. The seller's intellectual property The buyer agrees that the workshop, courses and course materials contain information owned by the seller and are protected by copyright. The buyer agrees not to use the course or course materials in a manner that constitutes an infringement of the seller's rights or that is not authorized by the seller. The use and sharing of courses and course materials, in a manner that is not accepted, is strictly prohibited and infringes the seller's rights and may expose the buyer to legal action for infringement of the seller's intellectual property rights. The seller may give the buyer personal user access to the courses and course material for the buyers own personal and non-commercial use. Unless otherwise stated, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to not have the right to modify, edit, copy, sell, distribute, duplicate, lease, reproduce, alter, enhance or in any way exploit any of the Course or Course Materials in any way or medium (including via e-mail or other electronic means). The buyer must not remove any author designation from any parts of the course and course material.
13. The seller's refund of service
The seller reserves the right to deny access to the Course and Course Materials to any buyer, without any obligation to assign a reason for doing so. The seller may change or discontinue any aspect or feature of the Course at any time, provided the seller fulfills the previous obligations to the buyer based on the approval of payment. The seller reserves the right to immediately remove the buyer from the course without refund if the buyer breaches these terms and conditions.
14. Third party resources The course or course material may contain links to third-party websites and resources. The buyer acknowledges and agrees that the seller is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content or policies of any third-party websites or resources. Links to such sites or resources do not imply any affiliation with the seller. The buyer acknowledges responsibility for and assumes all risks arising from the use of such websites or resources.
15. Buyer's feedback and marketing The buyer agrees that the seller has the right to use the buyer's feedback, whether in the form of e-mails, surveys, comments, discussions in course-related forums, conversations, video calls, pictures taken at the events, or otherwise, for the purpose of marketing or promoting the seller's courses.
16. Personal data The controller for collected personal data is the seller. Unless the buyer agrees to something else, the seller, in line with the Personal Data Act, can only obtain and store the personal data that is necessary for the seller to be able to carry out the obligations under the agreement. The buyer's personal data will only be disclosed to others if it is necessary for the seller to complete the agreement with the buyer, or in statutory cases.
17. Conflict resolution Complaints must be addressed to the seller within a reasonable time, see point 9. The parties must try to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is not successful, the buyer can contact the Norwegian Consumer Protection Authority for mediation. Forbrukertilsynet is available on phone 0047 23 400 600 or
www.forbrukertilsynet.no.
The European Commission's complaints portal can also be used if you wish to lodge a complaint. It is particularly relevant if you are a consumer living in another EU country. The complaint is filed here:
