The Playground
Alumni dinner
  • 18th of September, 17:30-21:00

  • House of Consciousness, Oslo
It's happening!
The first-ever Playground alumni dinner.

This is an evening to reconnect with familiar faces — and meet others who’ve been on their own version of the Playground adventure. You’ll meet folks from all corners of past Playgrounds – from the resilient shapeshifters of the very first round to the most recent Joy explorers.

So, we’re gathering all past Playground participants under one roof — to eat, laugh, connect, and remember that you’re definitely not the only weirdo trying to change the world.
What to expect
Well, you’ll leave with a full belly, some new conversations, and a little more energy than you came with!
  • Playful surprise
At 18:00 we will start the evening with a creative and playful surprise by our very own artist Hansine Killingmoe, something to shake off the day and arrive together.
  • Delicious food
Jacob Roots will be cooking up a beautiful community dinner, and Emilie Garnes – our sourdough magician – will bring fresh, beautiful baked goods to the table.
  • Relax and have fun!
We will facilitate and create a space where you can lower your shoulders and just enjoy. If you’ve missed that feeling of ease, depth, and being around people who care about the same stuff – this is it.
Roots & Culture
Reconnecting knowledge and tradition
With a passion for nature, tradition, and ancestral culture, Jacob has spent years exploring the richness of the wild — both through personal practice and through Roots & Culture. A walking herbal book, he shares his knowledge and passion in ways that are dynamic, alive, and deeply inspiring.

With Roots & Culture, every meal begins with an awareness of where the ingredients come from and how they are prepared, treated, and presented. The process is intentional — letting flavours develop, stories emerge, and nature’s diversity shine through each dish.

For our dinner, Jacob will bring this same presence to the table, crafting a meal that is rooted in the wild and made to be shared at the table.
House of Consciousness
A space for transformative growth in health and self-development
House of Consciousness is built on the belief that personal well-being and planetary well-being are deeply connected. They call it inner sustainability — aligning mind, body, and spirit so we can show up fully for ourselves, each other, and the world.

Blending ancient wisdom with modern science, they create spaces and experiences that invite balance, clarity, and conscious living. From the light-filled Glass Garden to the warm and welcoming Living Room, where our dinner will take place, every gathering is designed to spark transformation from the inside out.
Hansine Killingmoe
Inviting joy through imperfect creation
Hansine a documentary filmmaker, musician, and painter — and someone who thrives on sparking creativity in unexpected ways. Her work has reached international stages, from an Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated short film to music with her indie-electronic duo Wibes, and art exhibitions that celebrate imperfection. She’s also the co-founder of Hjerteloke Art Club, where the only rule is to make bad art — because joy often lives in the mess.

For our dinner, Hansine will lead a surprise welcome activity to shake off the day and help us land together. Playful, disarming, and full of heart, she invites people to drop their guard, connect, and remember the simple fun of creating something — not for perfection, but for joy.
Emilie Garnes
Homemade food doesn’t have to be hard
Emilie is the foodie and baker behind Sourdough.etc — known for turning flour, water, and salt into loaves that could make a grown adult tear up. She is sharing recipes, tips, and mouthwatering bakes across Instagram, TikTok, and her Substack, From Starter to Supper, where she explores everything from crusty bread to cakes, pies, and cookies.

When she’s not posting drool-worthy videos or running one-on-one sourdough coaching calls, Emilie is in the kitchen experimenting. Her approach is generous, unfussy, and rooted in the simple joy of making something with your hands and sharing it.

For our dinner, Emilie will bring her magic to the table with fresh, beautiful sourdough creations — the kind of jummyness that makes you forget everything else for a moment.
